Twelve miles northwest of Chestertown, Maryland, lies Betterton, a scenic, incorporated town of fewer than 400 year-round residents. Nestled midst the bluffs of the Chesapeake Bay, the town's northern boundary, Betterton covers approximately 500 acres before joining the rural countryside of Kent County, Maryland.
